AEG vs Samsung Frost Free Fridge Freezer - Silver — Comparison
The AEG 6000 TwinTech ORC6M301DV at £549 and the Samsung RB38C602CS9 at £599 are both frost-free fridge freezers in silver, offering modern styling and convenient no-defrost operation. They differ in cooling technology and features.
The AEG ORC6M301DV is a 70/30 No Frost model with TwinTech, which uses separate cooling systems for the fridge and freezer. This keeps humidity higher in the fridge, so food dries out less, and prevents odours transferring between compartments. The Samsung RB38C602CS9 features All-Around Cooling for even temperatures, SpaceMax for more internal capacity without a larger exterior, a Digital Inverter compressor for quiet, efficient running and Power Cool/Power Freeze for rapid cooling. It carries a C energy rating, which suggests lower running costs.
The AEG is £50 cheaper and its TwinTech system is excellent for keeping fresh food in good condition, making it a strong choice for households that buy lots of fresh produce. The Samsung's C energy rating and inverter compressor offer lower running costs, which can offset the higher price over time. Compare overall capacities and the fridge-to-freezer split to match your shopping habits.
Bottom line: choose the AEG 6000 TwinTech ORC6M301DV at £549 if you want dual cooling to keep fresh food better for less. Choose the Samsung RB38C602CS9 at £599 if you want a C-rated, inverter-driven fridge freezer with lower running costs.
