Bosch vs Neff N70 75cm 5 Burner Gas Hob - Stainless Steel — Comparison

The Bosch Series 6 PCQ7A5I90 at £449 and the Neff N70 T27CIS8N0 at £499 are both 75cm five-burner gas hobs in stainless steel. Both come from the BSH group, so they share engineering heritage, but the Neff adds premium control features for £50 more.

A 75cm, five-burner layout gives more room than a standard 60cm hob, making it easier to use large pans and cook several dishes at once. The Neff T27CIS8N0 features FlameSelect, which offers nine precise flame settings so you can repeat exact heat levels, a dual wok burner for high-heat stir-frying, cast iron pan supports and Neff's metallic sword dials. The Bosch PCQ7A5I90 offers five burners in a stainless steel finish, typically including a wok burner and cast iron supports, with Bosch's dependable controls and flame failure safety devices.

For most cooks, the Bosch delivers the key benefits of a 75cm five-burner hob at a lower price. The Neff suits enthusiastic cooks who value precise, repeatable flame control and a powerful dual wok burner, or buyers matching other Neff appliances. Both need a 75cm worktop cut-out and a Gas Safe registered engineer for installation, so check the cut-out dimensions if replacing an existing hob.

Bottom line: choose the Bosch Series 6 PCQ7A5I90 at £449 if you want a capable 75cm five-burner gas hob for less. Choose the Neff N70 T27CIS8N0 at £499 if you want FlameSelect precision and a dual wok burner for serious cooking.
