De'Longhi De'Longhi TRRS0715 1500W Oil Filled Column Radiator - White vs De'Longhi TRRS0920E.G 2000W Oil Filled Radiator - Grey — Comparison

The De'Longhi TRRS0715 is a 1500W oil-filled column radiator at £95, in white, with three heat settings, overheat protection and a 1.35m cable. It measures 650mm high, 160mm wide and 395mm deep. The De'Longhi TRRS0920E.G is a 2000W oil-filled radiator at £109 in grey, with the same three heat settings, 1.35m cable, 650mm height and 160mm width, but it is 472mm deep and adds an anti-frost feature. Neither has a remote control or a wall-mount option.

The 2000W model gives a third more heat output (2.0kW against 1.5kW), so it is the one to choose for a larger room or to boost a living area. Buyers of the grey model say it warms a room quickly, even on a low setting, and its thermostat holds the chosen temperature, which suits people who prefer a dial to digital controls. Owners also say it is economical to run for the heat you get, and that it moves easily on its wheels. The 1500W white model is the lower-powered choice for a smaller room, and at £14 less it is the budget option.

Buyers of the grey model do raise some issues. One noted a lot of clicking and banging while it warms up, which could disturb a light sleeper in a bedroom, and another reported oil leaking onto a wooden floor after two uses. A third would like a better or second carry handle for safer moving. Stand either radiator on a level floor, clear of curtains and furniture, and most reviewers still rate the heat output and value highly.

Bottom line: choose the TRRS0920E.G if you need 2kW of heat for a living room and can accept the warm-up noise, and choose the TRRS0715 if you want the lower price and a white radiator for a smaller room.
