Liebherr 371L NoFrost Fridge Freezer - Black Steel vs 372L NoFrost Fridge Freezer - Stainless Steel — Comparison

The Liebherr CNBDC573I in Black Steel and the Liebherr CNSFC574I in Stainless Steel are both £999 and nearly identical, close to finish variants of one fridge freezer. Both are 2015mm high, 597mm wide and 675mm deep, with NoFrost cooling, a 60/40 fridge to freezer split, three freezer drawers, reversible doors and a wine rack. The main differences are the capacity split and the shelving. The Black Steel has 371 litres in total, 103 litres of freezer space and five fridge shelves, while the Stainless Steel has 372 litres, 104 litres of freezer space and four fridge shelves.

Energy use is close, at 162kWh a year and class C for the Black Steel and 163kWh and class C for the Stainless Steel. Both are rated 35dB, although the Black Steel carries a B noise grade against C for the other. The Black Steel has a 2.4-inch display and Easy Twist Ice, while the Stainless Steel has an ice maker with a water tank, so ice works differently between the two. If ice matters to you, compare how each system works before choosing.

Storage is effectively the same, with three freezer drawers, no freezer shelves, an ice dispenser and reversible doors on both. The decision therefore comes down to finish, the fridge shelving you prefer and the ice system you want. Check that the fridge-to-freezer split suits how much frozen food you keep.

Bottom line: choose the Liebherr CNBDC573I if you prefer the Black Steel finish and five fridge shelves; choose the Liebherr CNSFC574I if you prefer stainless steel and the water-tank ice maker, and can live with four fridge shelves.
