Altimo vs NEFF Cookers

Altimo and NEFF sit at opposite ends of the fitted and freestanding market. Altimo's comparison models run from £209 for the CESS502W to £349 for the CEDC602W double oven cooker, while NEFF's are built-in ovens from £899 for the N 70 Slide&Hide single oven up to £1,519 for the N 90 model with steam. The U2ACH7AN7B N 50 smart double oven at £1,099 sits between them.

NEFF's technology is about the door and the fan. Slide&Hide slides the door beneath the oven so you can stand closer when basting or lifting dishes, and CircoTherm circulates heat so you can cook on several levels without flavour transfer. The N 90 B64FS31G0B adds steam, while the U2ACH7AN7B connects to Home Connect for smart control. Nothing in Altimo's range here includes steam, smart connectivity or a slide-away door; its technology is a 60-litre main oven, a 30-litre second oven, a ceramic hob and simple controls, which keeps the price low. NEFF ovens are built-in only, so a hob is bought separately.

Altimo suits landlords, first-time buyers and anyone who needs a complete cooker with a hob at the lowest price. NEFF suits keen cooks with a fitted kitchen who will pay for Slide&Hide convenience, CircoTherm multi-level cooking or steam. Pairing with a NEFF hob makes sense for a matching look, and the N 50 double oven is the entry point for households who need two cavities without the N 90's price. Each N 70 model costs £899, which is £550 more than the CEDC602W.

Bottom line: choose Altimo if you want a complete freestanding cooker from £209 to £349 with a hob included; choose NEFF if you have a fitted kitchen and want Slide&Hide, steam or Home Connect, with the B54CR31G0B at £899 as the most affordable entry point.
