AEG vs Schonhaus Dishwashers
AEG starts with AEG FFB73727PM 600m 15 Place Setting Dishwasher - Stainless (£749), backed by AEG FFB73727PW 600m 15 Place Setting Dishwasher - White (£699), while Schonhaus offers Schonhaus DWSF0115FSBG (£519.99) and Schonhaus DWSI0115FSB (£499.99). The additional models, AEG FFB53937ZM 600m 14 Place Setting Dishwasher - Stainless Steel (£499) and Schonhaus DWSF0115FSBW (£499.99), put the comparison across full-size, slimline, integrated or freestanding choices rather than simple brand preference alone.
On technology, AEG focuses on AirDry door opening, SatelliteClean-style spray coverage, 14 to 15 place settings and stainless or white finishes, while Schonhaus emphasises 15-place full-size layouts, integrated and freestanding model codes, and colour choices around the £500 mark. Compare place settings, basket layout, drying method, quick programmes, noise levels, app control and whether the machine is 45cm or 60cm wide. A fast programme is useful for daily plates, but drying performance often decides satisfaction with plastics and glassware.
AEG suits families who want strong drying, flexible loading and a more premium full-size dishwasher without going fully luxury. Schonhaus suits buyers wanting a modern-looking dishwasher at a tidy mid-market price without paying for a famous premium badge. From a value angle, AEG costs more than entry models but can repay through cleaner full loads and less hand-drying; Schonhaus competes by specification and price, though long-term service reputation may matter to cautious buyers. Energy payback is strongest when you run full loads on eco programmes, so capacity and loading flexibility can matter more than a small price difference.
Bottom line: choose AEG if families who want strong drying, flexible loading and a more premium full-size dishwasher without going fully luxury and its programme mix fits your kitchen; opt for Schonhaus if buyers wanting a modern-looking dishwasher at a tidy mid-market price without paying for a famous premium badge and its layout, width and price better match your daily washing-up.
