Beko vs Blomberg Dishwashers

Beko and Blomberg are a useful pairing because both brands belong to the same appliance group, with Blomberg sitting higher on price at entry level. Beko's products start at £249 with the DVN04X20W 13 place setting freestanding model and the DVS04X20W 10 place slimline model, and the BDEN38640FG 16 place setting Fast45 costs £379. Blomberg's LDF31310W is £359.99, the LDF53400W is £399.99 and the LDV02320 fully integrated slimeline is £449.

Beko's features are its AquaIntense extra spray arm for heavily soiled dishes, its CornerIntense spray arm for corner coverage, AutoDosing, which dispenses detergent for up to a month, and a ProSmart Inverter motor with a 10-year warranty. Its Quick&Shine programme finishes in 58 minutes. Blomberg's freestanding LDF models suit open-plan kitchens because they run quietly, and its integrated LDV02320 sits behind a matching door. Its programme set includes quick, eco and intensive cycles, with half load options on selected models.

Beko suits first-time buyers, students and small households who need a reliable machine at the lowest price, and the 10 place slimline DVS04X20W at £249 fits a compact flat. Blomberg suits households that want an integrated dishwasher hidden behind a kitchen door, such as the LDV02320 at £449, or a freestanding model with quiet running. The LDF53400W at £399.99 is a sensible middle ground for a family kitchen. Buyers who want a freestanding dishwasher can choose between Beko's full-size and slimline options, or Blomberg's LDF models at £359.99 and £399.99.

Bottom line: choose Beko if you want the widest choice of low prices, including the 16 place BDEN38640FG at £379 or a slimline model at £249, and choose Blomberg if you want a fully integrated dishwasher at £449 or a quiet freestanding model from £359.99.
