Beko vs Hotpoint Dishwashers

Beko and Hotpoint both offer compact and full-size dishwashers at accessible prices. Beko's entry point is the DVS04X20W 10 place slimline model at £249, with the BDEN38640FG 16 place setting Fast45 at £379 as its largest option here. Hotpoint's slimline HF9E 1B19 UK, a 9 place setting machine, costs £299, and its 14 place HFC3C26WCUK is £316, which places it just below Beko's 16 place model.

Beko's most distinctive feature is AquaIntense, a powerful additional spray arm, along with CornerIntense corner cleaning and AutoDosing, which dispenses detergent for up to a month. Its ProSmart Inverter motor carries a 10-year warranty. Hotpoint focuses on 3D Zone Wash, which concentrates cleaning on stubborn soil, and on Flexiload storage on the HFC3C26WCXUK, which adds a vertical zone for tall items. The same model has an ActiveDry system that opens the door at the end of the cycle. The HFC3C26WCUK is a super quiet model with a 30 minute quick wash, and the HF9E1B19SUK offers an Express 30 cycle and an adjustable top basket.

Beko suits budget buyers who want the most capacity for the money, particularly the 16 place BDEN38640FG, and anyone who likes a quick half load for small loads. Hotpoint suits households that want a slimline dishwasher for a narrow kitchen, such as the HF9E 1B19 UK, or a 14 place machine with a super quiet cycle for an open-plan space. Its ActiveDry door opening and Express 30 cycle suit busy households that run several short loads through a weekday.

Bottom line: choose Beko if you want the most capacity for the money, with the 16 place BDEN38640FG at £379, and choose Hotpoint if you need a slimline 9 place machine at £299 or a 14 place model with ActiveDry and a super quiet cycle from £316.
