Beko vs 177L Frost Free Tall Freezer — Comparison
The Beko BFFD4577 is a built-in tall freezer priced at £549.00, aimed at fitted kitchens where the appliance is hidden behind cabinetry and a full-height integrated look matters. The Beko FFG4545W 177L Frost Free Tall Freezer costs £399 and sits as a freestanding tall freezer for buyers who want visible, flexible placement rather than built-in installation. Both are tall freezer options, but the BFFD4577 is the more expensive integrated model, while the FFG4545W is the more budget-friendly freestanding choice.
The BFFD4577 is described as a built-in tall freezer with Frost Free technology, so its key advantage is integration with kitchen units while avoiding manual ice build-up. The FFG4545W gives fuller published specifications: 177L capacity, H:1457mm x W:540mm x D:575mm dimensions, C-rated 40dB noise, Frost Free cooling, Freezer Guard and an E energy rating. Freezer Guard is the standout listed feature on the FFG4545W, making it more suitable for colder outbuildings or garages where compatible use is important.
The BFFD4577 suits homeowners designing or upgrading a fitted kitchen who want a seamless tall freezer and are prepared to pay the extra £150 for built-in installation. It is less about headline capacity in the supplied details and more about concealed placement. The FFG4545W suits value-led buyers who want a known 177-litre capacity, quiet 40dB operation, frost-free convenience and flexible positioning without paying integrated-appliance prices.
Bottom line: choose BFFD4577 if you need a built-in tall Frost Free freezer for a fitted kitchen / opt for FFG4545W if you want a cheaper freestanding 177L frost-free freezer with Freezer Guard.
