Creda vs Stoves Cookers

Creda and Stoves both sell dual fuel cookers, but at different price points. Creda's Creda C100RCDFTBL 100cm dual fuel range cooker costs £1,199, and its Creda C80BISMFTCBL 80-litre built-in oven costs £329. Stoves' Richmond Deluxe 60DF 60cm dual fuel double oven cooker is priced at £899, £949 or £1,049 depending on finish, and the Richmond 90Ei TCH 90cm electric range cooker is £2,299. Creda's 100cm range is the cheaper of the two range-style cookers in this comparison.

Stoves builds its cookers around Zeus Bluetooth connected cooking, which lets you monitor and control the oven from a smartphone, and ProFlex cavity splitting, which divides one cavity into two independent temperature zones. It also cites precision temperature control, an A+ energy rating and a 10-year parts guarantee. Creda's range cooker has a True Fan Oven and a high-power wok burner, but few smart features. Its 80-litre built-in oven is a plain cavity with no connected functions. Stoves' Zeus system is the main reason to choose its cookers over Creda's.

Creda suits large families and keen cooks with a gas supply who want a 100cm range cooker, or buyers who need a large built-in oven on a budget. Stoves suits keen cooks who want a complete dual fuel or electric cooker with smart controls and who can cover the cost of professional installation. Gas and dual fuel models need a Gas Safe registered engineer, so the full price should include fitting before you compare it with Creda's range cooker.

Bottom line: choose Creda if you want a lower-cost 100cm dual fuel range or an 80-litre built-in oven and have a gas connection. Choose Stoves if you want Zeus connected controls, the ProFlex split cavity and a 10-year parts guarantee in a complete cooker, and you are prepared to pay for installation too.
