Creda vs Leisure Cookers

Creda and Leisure compete in the 100cm and built-in market. Creda's Creda C100RCDFTBL 100cm dual fuel range cooker is £1,199 and the Creda C80BISMFTCBL 80-litre built-in oven is £329. Leisure's options include the Leisure CLA60CEK double-oven ceramic cooker at £529, the Leisure CLA60CEC two-oven cooker at £529, and the Leisure CK100D210K Cookmaster 100cm electric range cooker at £1,299, rising to the Leisure CS100D510X Cuisinemaster at £1,799.

The main technical split is fuel. Creda's range cooker is dual fuel, with a gas hob and electric ovens, and it includes a True Fan Oven and a high-power wok burner. Leisure's 100cm cookers are fully electric, so the hob and ovens both run on electricity. The CLA60CEK has a 35-litre and 56-litre double oven with an integrated electric grill, and the CLA60CEC has catalytic liners for easier cleaning. Creda's 80-litre built-in oven is one large cavity for a fitted kitchen, while the Leisure double ovens split the space into two. Leisure's 100cm electric range cooker needs no gas supply, which is the practical difference when choosing.

Creda suits large families and keen cooks with a gas supply who want a dual fuel range cooker, while the 80-litre built-in oven suits a fitted kitchen. Leisure suits households that want an all-electric range or double-oven cooker, particularly where there is no gas connection or where two cavities help when cooking several dishes at different temperatures. The CLA60CEK and CLA60CEC are the more compact choices at 60cm.

Bottom line: choose Creda if you have a gas connection and want a dual fuel 100cm range cooker or a large built-in oven at £329. Choose Leisure if you want an all-electric cooker, a double-oven 60cm model at £529 or a 100cm electric range cooker from £1,299.
