Creda vs Hotpoint Cookers

Creda and Hotpoint both offer cookers for family kitchens, but their ranges differ. Creda's Creda C100RCDFTBL is a 100cm dual fuel range cooker at £1,199, and its Creda C80BISMFTCBL is an 80-litre built-in black oven at £329. Hotpoint's electric cookers run from the Hotpoint HDM67V9HCXUK double cooker at £499 and the Hotpoint HDM67V92HCBUK with a ceramic hob at £513, up to the Hotpoint HDT67I9HM2CUK induction double cooker at £749. Both brands aim at family kitchens, but Creda leans towards dual fuel and built-in options while Hotpoint focuses on electric cookers.

Hotpoint's cookers are electric, with main fan ovens and hot air circulation to keep flavours from mixing. Several of its models have four-zone hobs, and the HDT67I9HM2CUK combines a four-zone induction hob with a Combi Duo Bridge Zone and a Solar Plus grill. Its oven capacities of 47 and 77 litres give a useful range of cavity sizes. Creda's dual fuel range cooker gives you a gas hob and electric ovens, and its True Fan Oven and high-power wok burner are the main points of difference.

Creda suits large families and keen cooks with room for a 100cm range cooker, or buyers who need a big built-in oven in black. Hotpoint suits a wider spread of budgets, with its double electric cookers starting at £499 and the Hotpoint Cannon CD67V9H2CAUK ceramic double oven at £659 for a large capacity. The induction option suits households that already own induction-compatible pans and want responsive cooking. Creda's 80-litre oven would sit alongside a separate hob, while Hotpoint's cookers combine oven and hob in one unit.

Bottom line: choose Creda if you want dual fuel cooking on a 100cm range or a large black built-in oven. Choose Hotpoint if you want an electric cooker with a choice of ceramic or induction hob and a price that starts at £499.
