AEG vs Liebherr Fridge Freezers

AEG and Liebherr both target buyers who want a reliable frost-free fridge freezer, and their ranges overlap in price. AEG's models sit between £649.99 and £1,199. Liebherr's line-up runs from the CTele 2531 SmartFrost DuoCooling at £529 to the CNSFC574I 372-litre NoFrost model at £999, with the CNSFD5704 at £697 and the CNC5724 359-litre smart model at £949 completing the range.

Liebherr's DuoCooling systems use two separate cooling circuits to stop odour moving between the fridge and freezer. Its NoFrost technology removes the need for manual defrosting, and the CNC5724 adds a touch display and SmartDevice Box for connectivity, while the CNSFC574I includes an icemaker with a water tank. VarioSpace freezer drawers and bottle racks add flexibility. AEG's TwinTech No Frost and CustomFlex door compartments offer a different approach to humidity and storage.

AEG suits buyers who want an integrated fridge freezer for a fitted kitchen and a choice of 70/30 or 60/40 splits. Liebherr suits those who want a German-built unit with DuoCooling for odour control, especially the CNC5724 at £949 for households that want touch and app controls. It also works for anyone who wants a 190-litre fridge with a SmartFrost system, such as the CTele 2531 at £529, though that model has a much smaller freezer. The CNSFD5704 at £697 is a useful middle-price option, combining EasyFresh and NoFrost with DuoCooling. Its Retrofittable Smart Connectivity feature means smart control can be added without buying a new appliance. Its DuoCooling system and NoFrost technology are useful for buyers who want odour control without paying for the icemaker on the CNSFC574I.

Bottom line: choose AEG if you want a built-in fridge freezer from £649.99 with TwinTech No Frost and CustomFlex storage, and choose Liebherr if you want DuoCooling, NoFrost and smart features in a model from £529 to £999.
