Hoover vs NEFF Fridges

Hoover and NEFF are a budget and premium pairing for smaller fridges. Hoover's options are the Hoover HONLQ2S58EWHK H-Fridge 300 undercounter larder fridge at £189, the Hoover HOLHS58EWK 127-litre larder fridge at £199 and the Hoover HWCB60UKN 46-bottle undercounter wine cooler at £459. NEFF's built-in fridges are the NEFF KI1411SE0 N 30 tall larder fridge at £539, the NEFF KU1212FE0G N 50 undercounter larder fridge at £579, the NEFF KI1311SE0 N 30 tall larder fridge at £629 and the NEFF KI2822FE0G N 50 tall fridge at £1,139.

The main difference is the build. Hoover's undercounter units are aimed at extra fresh-food space and drinks, and the H-Fridge 300 adds Aria Clear Module, LED lighting and hOn app control. NEFF's fridges are built-in only, with tall N 30 and N 50 larder models that devote all their space to fresh food because there is no icebox. The KU1212FE0G sits beneath a worktop behind a matching cabinet door, and NEFF shares its engineering with Bosch and Siemens within the BSH group.

Hoover suits buyers who need an affordable undercounter larder for extra fresh-food space, or a 46-bottle wine cooler, and it works well as a second fridge in a utility room. NEFF suits buyers designing a fitted kitchen who want integrated larder fridges that match NEFF ovens and hobs. A tall NEFF model can serve as the main fridge in a fitted kitchen, but the housing must fit, so check the height carefully before ordering. None of Hoover's models here is a tall fridge, so families needing a large main fridge will need NEFF's taller models or another brand.

Bottom line: choose Hoover if you want a budget undercounter larder from £189 or a 46-bottle wine cooler at £459. Choose NEFF if you are fitting a kitchen and want integrated larder fridges from £539 that match its ovens and hobs.
