Fridgemaster vs NEFF Fridges

Fridgemaster and NEFF sit at opposite ends of the built-in and freestanding market. Fridgemaster's budget range includes the 75-litre MUR4894E undercounter fridge with icebox at £129 and the 242-litre MTL55242E tall larder fridge at £239. NEFF focuses on integrated fridges, with the N 30 KI1411SE0 tall larder fridge at £539, the N 30 KI1311SE0 at £629, the N 50 KU1212FE0G undercounter larder at £579 and the N 50 KI2822FE0G tall fridge at £1,139.

Fridgemaster's models are freestanding and simpler. The MTL55242E gives 242 litres of fresh-food space across five shelves and uses auto defrost, and the MUR4894E adds a small icebox for ice and a few frozen items. NEFF's built-in larders give the whole interior to fresh food, with no icebox, and sit behind matching cabinet doors. The top N 50 tier brings the KI2822FE0G at £1,139, which carries the premium look and BSH engineering shared with Bosch and Siemens, brands known for dependable refrigeration.

Fridgemaster suits budget buyers, landlords and students who need a fridge without spending much, and it works as a sensible second fridge for drinks or a separate freezer. NEFF suits people fitting a new kitchen who want integrated larder fridges that match NEFF ovens, hobs and built-in freezers. Because NEFF fridges are built in, the housing height and door-fixing method need checking before ordering. Fridgemaster's undercounter models also need a height check against the worktop and ventilation space, so measure the space first whichever brand you choose.

Bottom line: choose Fridgemaster if you need a freestanding fridge for under £250, such as the MTL55242E at £239, and do not need built-in fitting; choose NEFF if you are designing a fitted kitchen and want a built-in tall larder fridge, such as the KI1411SE0 at £539, that matches the rest of the cabinetry.
