Hotpoint vs NEFF Fridges

Hotpoint and NEFF represent two different ways of buying a fridge. Hotpoint's range runs from the H55VM1120WUK 105-litre undercounter fridge at £275 to the SH8A2QWRDUK 366-litre freestanding fridge at £478, with the 322-litre SH6A2QWRUK tall larder fridge at £409 in between. NEFF works in the built-in market, with the N 30 KI1411SE0 tall larder fridge at £539, the N 50 KU1212FE0G undercounter larder fridge at £579 and the N 50 KI2822FE0G tall fridge at £1,139.

Hotpoint's freestanding 366-litre models include automatic defrost, a fast-freeze option and electronic temperature control, while the 105-litre undercounter model adds a 17-litre icebox. Hotpoint also highlights Active Oxygen and a 10-year parts guarantee available on some models. Hotpoint's freestanding fridges are the simpler purchase for a rental or first home. NEFF focuses on fit and finish. Its built-in models sit behind cabinet doors, and its larder designs devote all their space to fresh food. NEFF shares engineering with Bosch and Siemens, both part of the BSH group.

Hotpoint suits families, couples who cook fresh food and buyers who want a familiar brand with capacity that stands on its own. NEFF suits renovations and fitted kitchens, especially where the fridge needs to match other NEFF ovens or built-in freezers. Before choosing a NEFF model, check the housing height and confirm how the door will be fixed to your cabinets. The 322-litre and 366-litre Hotpoint models give families the most litres for the money.

Bottom line: choose Hotpoint if you want a familiar brand, 322 to 366 litres of larder capacity and strong value at £409 to £478 for a freestanding fridge. Choose NEFF if you are building a fitted kitchen and need an integrated tall or undercounter larder fridge that disappears behind cabinet doors.
