Hisense vs Miele Hobs

Hisense and Miele sit at opposite ends of the induction market. Hisense's HI6401BSC 60cm 4 Burner Induction Hob is £199, its HI6421BSC is £229 and its HI8421BSC 80cm 4 Zone Induction Hob is £349. Miele's KM7361FL 60cm Smart 4 Burner Induction Hob is £619, the KM7363FL 60cm 4 Burner Induction Smart Hob is £779, and the KM7373FL 80cm Smart 4 Burner Induction Hob is £866. The gap between the HI6401BSC at £199 and the KM7361FL at £619 is £420. Both brands offer 60cm induction hobs, so a like-for-like comparison is straightforward.

Miele's induction hobs focus on smart control. The KM7363FL has Comfort Select controls and Con@ctivity, which links the hob to a compatible hood, while the KM7361FL adds WiFi pairing and Stop & Go. Miele uses TempControl and PowerFlex zones for consistent temperatures and recognises pan size and position. Hisense offers wide induction at a fraction of the price, with touch control, Super Zone on the HI6401BSC and automatic pan recognition on the HI8421BSC. Its GG773B five-burner gas hob has no Miele counterpart.

Hisense suits value-focused households upgrading from basic electric or gas, and cooks who want an 80cm induction surface without premium pricing. Miele suits long-term kitchen refits where a premium finish, refined controls and hood integration justify the spend. Miele's induction hobs need magnetic cookware, and installation can be more involved, so budget for both the hob and its fitting. Hisense's 75cm five-burner gas hob suits cooks who want gas, a choice Miele's induction-only range does not offer in this comparison.

Bottom line: choose Hisense if you want affordable induction from £199 or a five-burner gas hob, and choose Miele if smart induction with hood integration matters more, such as the KM7361FL at £619 with WiFi pairing.
