Creda vs Miele Hobs

Creda and Miele sit at opposite ends of the price range. Creda's C70CTC 70cm 4 Zone Ceramic Hob costs £249 and its C60CTC 60cm model costs £195. Miele's KM7361FL 60cm Smart 4 Burner Induction Hob is £619, the KM7363FL 60cm 4 Burner Induction Smart Hob is £779, and the KM7373FL 80cm Smart 4 Burner Induction Hob is £866. Both brands sell 60cm hobs, so cut-out sizes can be compared directly.

Miele's induction hobs add Comfort Select controls and Con@ctivity, which links the hob to a compatible hood. The KM7361FL also offers WiFi pairing and Stop & Go. Creda's ceramic hobs offer nine heat levels, keep warm, auto heating and front touch controls, but no smart features. Miele's induction heats pans faster than ceramic and wastes less heat, while Creda's ceramic surface works with any flat-bottomed pan. Miele needs magnetic cookware, and its build feels more refined. Miele's KM7373FL 80cm model at £866 gives a wider surface than any Creda hob in this comparison.

Creda suits households that want an uncomplicated hob with a 60cm or 70cm surface at an affordable price. Miele suits long-term kitchen refits where a smart induction hob and hood integration matter, and buyers who value a premium finish. A Miele hob usually makes most sense in a planned kitchen, because installation and cookware add to the cost. Check your electrical supply and cut-out before buying either model. The gap between the £619 KM7361FL and the £249 C70CTC is £370, so the decision rests on whether smart features are worth that difference.

Bottom line: choose Creda if you want a reliable 70cm ceramic hob for £249 without smart features, and choose Miele if you want connected induction with hood integration, such as the KM7361FL at £619.
