Creda vs Neff Hobs

Creda and Neff offer different cooking styles at different prices. Creda's C70CTC 70cm 4 Zone Ceramic Hob costs £249 and the C60CTC 60cm model costs £195. Neff's T26PIP4S0 N70 60cm 4 Burner Gas Hob in black is £309, the T26CIP8N0 N70 stainless steel gas hob is £349, the T26CB49S0 N50 gas hob is £419, and the T56FHS1L0 N 70 60cm 4 Zone Smart Induction Hob is £549.

Neff's gas hobs use FlameSelect and a metallic sword dial, and the N50 adds a tempered glass surface with pan supports. The T56FHS1L0 induction hob adds Combi Zone and Multitouch+ control. Neff's FlexInduction technology, which lets you use pans of different sizes and shapes within marked zones, and PowerBoost, which raises output by up to 50 percent, are central to its range. Creda's ceramic hob offers nine heat levels, keep warm and auto heating, but it lacks Neff's zone flexibility and smart options. Neff's models come in black or stainless steel finishes, so the look can match the kitchen.

Creda suits electric cooks who want a straightforward ceramic hob and do not want to buy induction pans. Neff suits cooks who prefer gas with a sleek finish, or who want a smart induction hob with Combi Zone for a large pan. Neff's N70 range suits a modern kitchen with a larger budget. Gas models need Gas Safe installation, so factor that into the total cost. The cheapest Neff gas hob, the T26PIP4S0 at £309, costs £60 more than the C70CTC.

Bottom line: choose Creda if you want an affordable electric ceramic hob such as the C70CTC at £249, and choose Neff if you prefer gas or want a smart induction hob, such as the T56FHS1L0 at £549, with Combi Zone and touch control.
