Bosch vs Hisense — Comparison

The Bosch Series 4 WAN28255GB at £499 and the Hisense 5S WF5S1245BB at £469 are both 1400rpm washing machines. The Hisense offers a much larger 12kg drum and costs £30 less than the 9kg Bosch.

The Bosch WAN28255GB is a 9kg Series 4 machine, known for reliability, quiet running and features such as SpeedPerfect for faster cycles and AllergyPlus programmes on many models. The Hisense WF5S1245BB offers a 12kg drum, handling bedding and large family loads in fewer cycles, in a black finish, typically with an inverter motor.

The Hisense offers more capacity for less money, making it the value choice for large families. The Bosch suits buyers who prioritise reliability, quiet operation and Bosch's programme options, and whose loads fit within 9kg. Both spin at 1400rpm. Check dimensions, as larger-capacity machines can be deeper.

Bottom line: choose the Hisense 5S WF5S1245BB at £469 if you want a 12kg drum for less. Choose the Bosch Series 4 WAN28255GB at £499 if you prefer Bosch's reliability in a 9kg machine.
