Hisense vs LG — Comparison

The Hisense 5S WF5S1245BB at £469 and the LG Series 4 F4Y711NCTN1 at £549 are both large-capacity washing machines. The Hisense offers a 12kg drum and 1400rpm spin for £80 less, while the LG offers 11kg and a 1350rpm spin.

Large-capacity machines handle king-size duvets and big family loads, reducing the number of cycles per week. The Hisense WF5S1245BB offers a 12kg drum in black, typically with an inverter motor for quiet, efficient running. The LG F4Y711NCTN1 features LG's direct-drive motor, known for durability and quiet running, along with AI DD technology that detects fabric type and load weight, and ThinQ app control on many Series 4 models.

The Hisense offers more capacity and a faster spin for less money, making it the value choice. The LG suits buyers who prioritise AI-driven washing, proven direct-drive durability and smart features. Check dimensions, as large machines can be deeper.

Bottom line: choose the Hisense 5S WF5S1245BB at £469 if you want a 12kg drum and 1400rpm spin for less. Choose the LG Series 4 F4Y711NCTN1 at £549 if you want AI Direct Drive and smart features.
