Hisense 1400rpm 10.5kg Load Smart Washing Machine - White vs 10.5kg Load 1400rpm Spin Washing Machine with Auto Dosing — Comparison

The Hisense WF3S1043BW3 is a 10.5kg washing machine in white at £329, while the Hisense WF5S1045BW has the same drum size and 1400rpm spin at £449. Both carry an A energy grade and a 72dB A-rated noise level, and both are smart app-enabled. The WF5S1045BW is 10mm narrower at 585mm, and both are 590mm deep and 845mm high.

The £120 premium on the WF5S1045BW buys auto dosing and an anti-flood device, neither of which the cheaper machine lists. The WF3S1043BW3 offers more programmes, 19 against 14, along with variable wash temperature, delicate wash, pre-wash and a half load option, none of which are listed for the other. Its listed energy figure is lower, at 41 against 52, and both have a 15 minute quick wash and the same 41 water figure.

Buyers of both models describe quiet running, a large drum, a simple app and easy controls. Owners of the WF5S1045BW say the automatic dosing saves them measuring powder and that the app tells them when a wash has finished, though one buyer notes it can be a little noisy. The WF3S1043BW3 has far more Feefo reviews, at 1,081 against 276, and buyers call it good value.

Bottom line: choose the Hisense WF3S1043BW3 if you want the lower price and the wider programme choice, or choose the Hisense WF5S1045BW if auto dosing and the anti-flood device are worth £120 to you.
