Nebula vs Philips Projectors

Nebula and Philips are close on price. Nebula's models run from the soundcore P1i at £402.99 to the D2426212 at £753.99. The Philips ProPix 850 costs £340.99, which is £62.00 less than the cheapest Nebula. The ProPix 850 is the only Philips model here, and it costs less than every Nebula, so the choice is between one budget Philips and a range of smart Nebula models.

Nebula's technology centres on convenience. Its models include built-in smart streaming, autofocus and automatic keystone correction, along with speakers from the soundcore range, with 1080p resolution and 300 to 650 ANSI lumens. The ProPix 850 gives more raw brightness, with 4000 ANSI lumens, Full HD resolution, a UHP lamp and a picture up to 150 inches. Its specification does not mention built-in streaming or speakers, so films will need separate audio.

Nebula suits bedrooms, flats and living rooms where the projector needs to be quick to set up and sound well without extra kit. Its portable design also suits people who move it between rooms. Philips suits a buyer who wants a bigger, brighter picture for the money, perhaps for a classroom, meeting room or a home setup where audio is handled separately. A Philips buyer who wants decent sound may also need to budget for a soundbar on top of the £340.99 price, whereas Nebula's built-in speakers are included. The ProPix 850 is the better buy if brightness matters more than convenience.

Bottom line: choose Nebula if you want a smart, portable projector with built-in speakers, starting at £402.99 with the soundcore P1i. Choose Philips if you want 4000 ANSI lumens for less at £340.99, with the ProPix 850 suiting a fixed screen where separate speakers are fine.
