Nebula vs ViewSonic Projectors

Nebula and ViewSonic overlap in the middle of this comparison. Nebula's range is £402.99 to £753.99, from the soundcore P1i up to the D2426212. ViewSonic's models run from the PA503S at £288.99 to the LSC601WU at £1,677.99, with the PA700W at £329.99 and the PX701-4K at £790.99 in between. The cheapest ViewSonic is £114.00 less than the cheapest Nebula.

Nebula's models bring built-in smart streaming, flippable or detachable speakers and automatic setup, with Full HD resolution and 300 to 650 ANSI lumens. ViewSonic's range is more varied. The PA503S is an SVGA business model at 3600 lumens, the PA700W is WXGA at 4500 lumens with dual HDMI and up to 300 inches, the PX701-4K is a 4K UHD DLP at 3200 lumens with 12000:1 contrast, and the LSC601WU is a 6000-lumen WUXGA 3LCD model with lens shift. ViewSonic also brings SuperColour technology and WiFi streaming, though its built-in audio is limited.

Nebula suits people who want a simple, self-contained projector for films and TV in a bedroom or flat, without a separate speaker or streaming stick. ViewSonic suits buyers with a wider set of needs. The PA700W is a cheap way to a big picture, the PX701-4K suits gamers who want 4K, and the LSC601WU is a meeting-room model. ViewSonic's 4500 and 6000 lumen models suit rooms with more light than a Nebula, which works best when dim.

Bottom line: choose Nebula if you want an easy, all-in-one projector with built-in speakers and streaming, starting at £402.99 for the soundcore P1i. Choose ViewSonic if you want more brightness or a bigger picture for less, such as the PA700W at £329.99 for up to 300 inches, or the PX701-4K at £790.99 for 4K gaming.
