Blomberg vs CDA Cookers

Blomberg and CDA both compete on price, but their listings cover different appliance types. Blomberg offers the ROEN9202DX at £329.99, the GGS9151W 50cm freestanding gas single oven cooker at £440 and the GGRN655W 60cm gas cooker at £539.99. CDA's listings are built-in electric single ovens: the SC030BL 65L 2800W in black at £189, the SC020SS 65L in stainless steel at £273 and the SC050BL 77L 2800W in black at £329.

CDA's built-in ovens are designed to sit in a kitchen housing, paired with a separate hob. The SC050BL offers a generous 77L capacity, useful for large roasts and batch baking, while the SC030BL is one of the cheapest built-in ovens available at £189. Electric fan ovens provide even heat for baking. Blomberg's freestanding gas cookers combine a hob and oven in one appliance, needing only a gas connection and a space in the kitchen line, with instant flame control on the hob.

Your kitchen layout decides this. If you have a fitted kitchen with an oven housing and a separate hob, CDA offers excellent value, especially the 77L SC050BL for families. If you need an all-in-one freestanding cooker and have a gas supply, Blomberg's GGRN655W provides full-width gas cooking, and the GGS9151W fits narrower 50cm spaces. Combining a CDA oven with a separate hob may cost about the same as a Blomberg cooker, but requires a fitted housing.

Bottom line: choose CDA if you need an affordable built-in electric oven, with the SC050BL 77L at £329 as the best value or the SC030BL at £189 for tight budgets. Opt for Blomberg if you want a freestanding gas cooker, with the GGRN655W 60cm at £539.99.
