CDA vs Indesit Cookers

CDA and Indesit both target value buyers, but Indesit's models include hobs. CDA's comparison models are the SC030BL at £189, the SC020SS at £273 and the SC050BL at £329. Indesit's are the ID5V92KMW/UK at £309, the IT60V9KMBUK twin cooker at £369, the ID67V9KMBUK at £399 and the ID67V9KMW/UK at £429, all electric cookers with ceramic hobs.

CDA's ovens are simple to use, with dial controls and capacities from 65 to 77 litres, and the SC030BL and SC050BL have 2800W heating elements. Indesit's cookers add a hob and steam-cleaning options. The ID67V9KMBUK has 72 litres in the main oven and 46 litres in the top oven with Steam&Clean, while the IT60V9KMBUK combines four ceramic zones with hydrolytic cleaning and steam. The ID5V92KMW/UK has enamel that is easy to clean. CDA ovens need a separate hob, which the Indesit cookers already include.

CDA suits budget kitchen fits where a hob already exists, and the SC020SS in stainless steel at £273 suits a fitted kitchen with steel finishes. Indesit suits households who want a cooker with a hob and steam cleaning, and the ID5V92KMW/UK at £309 is the cheapest Indesit cooker here. The ID67V9KMBUK costs £210 more than the SC030BL, but includes the hob and a 72-litre main oven. The ID5V92KMW/UK at £309 is £120 more than the SC030BL, a gap that buys a hob and a 62-litre fan oven. Indesit's cleaning features are the clearest difference, since CDA's ovens are cleaned by hand.

Bottom line: choose CDA if you already have a hob and want a built-in oven for as little as £189, with the SC050BL at £329 giving 77 litres; choose Indesit if you want a complete electric cooker with steam cleaning, starting at £309 for the ID5V92KMW/UK.
