CDA vs Siemens Cookers

CDA and Siemens serve very different budgets. The CDA SC030BL costs £189, the CDA SC020SS £273 and the CDA SC050BL £329. Siemens' iQ700 range starts with the Siemens HB732G1B1B at £829, then the Siemens HB776G1B1B at £1,099, the Siemens CM776G1B1B compact combination oven with microwave at £1,499 and the Siemens HM776G1B1B smart microwave oven at £1,699.

CDA's ovens are conventional built-in models with simple controls and manual cleaning. The SC050BL offers 77 litres, while the SC030BL and SC050BL both deliver 2800W. Siemens adds features that CDA's range does not include: Home Connect smart control across the iQ700 line, ecoClean coating on the HB732G1B1B to help break down grease, and microwave combination cooking on the CM776G1B1B and HM776G1B1B. The CM776G1B1B is a 45cm compact combination oven, which suits a second oven above a main one. Both ranges are built-in only, so a separate hob is needed with either.

CDA suits landlords, first homes and refits where the priority is a built-in oven with a good-sized cavity at a sensible price. Siemens suits buyers creating a premium fitted kitchen who want combination cooking, microwave speed or the connected features of the iQ700 range. A compact combination oven like the CM776G1B1B works well alongside a main oven, while the HM776G1B1B is for households that use microwave cooking every day and want it built into the same cavity. The HB732G1B1B and HB776G1B1B are conventional ovens, while the CM776G1B1B and HM776G1B1B add microwave functions.

Bottom line: choose CDA if you need a straightforward, large-capacity built-in oven for a budget refit. Choose Siemens if you want iQ700 features such as microwave combination, ecoClean and Home Connect control, and you are prepared to pay more for a premium finish.
