Hisense vs Zanussi Cooker Hoods

Hisense is priced from £224 for the 60cm CH6IN14BXBUK wall-mounted hood and £249 for the 100cm Hi4 CH10IN14BBUK built-in chimney hood, both in black. Zanussi offers the ZHC62352X 60cm built-in cooker hood in stainless steel at £149, which makes it the cheaper option by £75 against the smallest Hisense model.

The Hisense hoods are built around black glass and decorative styling, with three speeds, and on the wider model LED lighting, perimetric suction and a washable grease filter. The Zanussi ZHC62352X uses three speeds, two built-in lights, two metal filters and an optional charcoal filter for recirculation. Zanussi's own material cites extraction rates of up to 600m³/h, quiet operation as low as 54dB, easy-to-clean filters and a standard two-year warranty with optional extended cover. Zanussi's 600m³/h extraction figure has no Hisense equivalent, so buyers should compare extraction on the exact models they are considering.

Hisense suits modern black kitchens and anyone needing a 100cm hood for a wide hob or range cooker. Zanussi suits budget kitchens and standard 60cm cabinet spaces, where a stainless steel built-in hood is enough and the buyer does not need a decorative design or the wider width. It is also a practical option for rental properties or refits. Anyone choosing the Zanussi should confirm whether the charcoal filter is fitted if the hood will recirculate, as it is an optional extra rather than standard equipment. Both brands offer a 60cm width, so the choice comes down to finish, price and whether a 100cm model is needed.

Bottom line: choose Hisense if you want a black finish or a 100cm width for a wide hob, or choose Zanussi if you need a stainless steel built-in hood for a standard 60cm space at the lowest price.
