Samsung vs Siemens Dishwashers

Samsung and Siemens both offer connected dishwashers, but Siemens sits at a clearly higher price. Samsung has two models: the Samsung DW60BG730FSLEU, a 13-place machine with nine programmes at £449, and the Samsung DW60DG760FSLU4 Series 6 at £549. Siemens offers four 14-place models from £699 to £999, including the SN23EC03ME at £699, the SN25ZI07CE and SN25EW13CE at £799, and the SN27TI02CE smart model at £999. The DW60BG730FSLEU at £449 is the cheapest model across both brands.

Samsung's focus is WaterJet Clean and SmartThings control, with Flex Load System and Aqua Stop on the DW60BG730FSLEU and the Series 6 adding Auto Door Open and an Extra Silence programme. Siemens relies on varioSpeed Plus, Home Connect remote control and programme downloads. The SN25ZI07CE adds Zeolith drying, Rack Matic and a Glass Zone, while the SN27TI02CE includes a Zeolith compartment and flexComfort Pro racking. Every Siemens model here is a 14-place machine, while the DW60BG730FSLEU is 13-place.

Samsung suits households that want app control and quiet running at a lower price, with the DW60BG730FSLEU at £449 an accessible entry point, £250 below the Siemens SN23EC03ME at £699. Siemens suits buyers who want larger capacity, advanced drying and the fastest cycles, particularly the SN25EW13CE at £799 with its half-load option. The Samsung Series 6 at £549 is £250 below the Siemens SN25ZI07CE at £799. Siemens parts can be expensive, while some Samsung smart functions need stable WiFi, so match the choice to how you will actually use the features.

Bottom line: choose Samsung if SmartThings control and WaterJet Clean matter most, and you want to spend from £449. Choose Siemens if varioSpeed Plus, Zeolith drying and a 14-place capacity justify spending from £699 up to £999.
