Blomberg vs Hisense Freezers

Blomberg and Hisense both offer undercounter and tall freezers, but Hisense is the cheaper route. Its 85L undercounter models cost £169 and £189, and the 240L No Frost upright FV298N4ACE is £449. The premium KitchenFit FT5K310GSFC costs £1,199. Blomberg's frost-free range runs from the FNE154P undercounter at £329.99 to the integrated FNT4454I at £679.99, with the FNM455W at £479.99 and the FNM4671P at £529.99 in between.

Hisense adds convenience features across its range. The FV298N4ACE has No Frost, multi airflow circulation, a digital display and precise temperature control. The KitchenFit FT5K310GSFC includes anti-bacterial protection, Metal-Tech cooling and the ConnectLife app for remote monitoring. The undercounter models are more basic: the FV105D4BC21 needs manual defrosting, while the FV105D4BW21 is rated at 40dB. Blomberg's freezers are frost free throughout, with a 54cm tall model and an integrated option that sits behind a kitchen cabinet door.

Hisense suits budget-conscious buyers who want a larger No Frost upright at a modest price, and it works well for a small kitchen that needs a compact 85L freezer. Blomberg suits fitted kitchens and narrow spaces, and its frost-free operation means no manual defrosting across the range. A household that wants a large frost-free upright on a budget will find the 240L Hisense hard to match, but anyone who dislikes manual defrosting in an undercounter unit should favour a Blomberg such as the FNE154P at £329.99. A 240L upright need not be a huge outlay either, since the FV298N4ACE costs less than Blomberg's FNM455W at £479.99.

Bottom line: choose Blomberg if you need a frost-free freezer built to fit a fitted kitchen, with the FNM455W at £479.99 as the best tall option. Choose Hisense if you want the most storage for the money, with the 240L FV298N4ACE No Frost upright at £449 as the standout value.
